Hate Campaing: Noynoy’s politics of hate

LP Presidential candidate Noynoy Aquino should seriously think of his flat form of government instead of waging hate campaign against the current regime. Must Noynoy destroy PGMA to win? It only goes to show that he has nothing new to offer to the Filipino voters. I’ve said it time and again that the presidency is earned not hereditary. Hindi porke’t anak ka ni Tita Cory at kapatid mo si Tetay ay iboboto ka na naming pangulo. Noynoy should show his ability to lead, explain his track record and flat form of government. But the thing is, he has nothing to show so his LP handlers’ only hope of winning is to demonize President Arroyo who is not even a candidate.

The hate tactics just shatter the 2010 elections’ myth that this year’s set of Presidential candidates are forward thinking and all about business. But it looks like we’re in for division, discord and disunity in a grander scale.

We Filipinos should learn the lessons that the American Politics have thought us. Barack Obama won in the election because they demonize the outgoing president George W. Bush. John Mccain was the best choice for president because of his track record and experience but he was dump by the voters because of his affiliation to George W. Bush. The Americans voted for Barack Obama and one year on after his election, hope for change is fading. Barack Obama could not rule and has no leadership ability. The Americans are dissatisfied. The lesson that we should learn from the American experience is that a candidate should not only preach change. Everyone can call for change but without the track record and experience, he’s nothing. We should not vote Noynoy because he presents himself as a replacement to PGMA. We should look at the obvious that he doesn’t have what it takes to become a president. We need a president who doesn’t need an OJT for the job. We need somebody who could bravely step into the presidency in day one. We’re a third world country and we can’t afford a president who doesn’t have a flat form of government and leadership ability. Notice that Noynoy is always absent in the forums? It’s because he’s afraid that people will realize that his brain is empty and he has nothing to offer. If LP and Noynoy are confident that they’re going to win in May election they don’t need to resort to negative tactics.

You may be surprised in my saying this but I agree with you. I am for Noynoy but I'm having second thoughts about him because of their hate campaigns. They still have 90 days to change. If they don't, then I will have to choose between my second and third choices: Gordon and Gibo, respectively.
