There’s a heated argument about the two pilots in a US major airline who were apparently sleeping during the flight. US TV networks were first to point fingers and accuse the two pilots of negligence. It’s a little alarming because there were over a hundred passengers on board during that flight. However, news should never be exaggerated just to gain audience share. Nowadays, the airline technology is advanced and airplanes have auto pilot control. If the pressure or the plane drops from its altitude, an alarm will be triggered and that would wake up the pilots from deep slumber.
Things like these only get to be on the news because of the absence of good stories.
