ICC issues arrest warrant for Al Bashir

ICC issued an arrest warrant to the sitting president of Sudan, Omar Al Bashir for genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes committed in 2003 against his own people. He is the first sitting head of state to be indicted by the International Tribunal. He masterminded the ethnic cleansing of Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa by murdering and raping them.

After the indictment, Al Bashir expelled international aid agencies and NGOs that helps feed the displaced people from the Darfur region. He believed that Aid agencies are responsible for fabricating lies against him.

Al Bashir should be liable to what he did to his own people. He killed his own people instead of protecting them. The people of Darfur suffered from killing, raping, hunger and other inhumane treatment. They will now face hunger as aid agencies are kicked out of Sudan. There’s no way that the Sudanese government would be able to feed all of them, another disservice to the helpless refugees.
