New Dawn of Phil Politics Daw?

Enough of politics already! I told myself at least for an hour. LOL. I can’t promise not to write nasty things about our recently installed ‘Special’ President. I know that 40% of Pinoys are happy while the remaining 60% (who did not vote for P-AbNoynoy) are cursing bitterly. I just don’t know how ABiaS CBN can sustain the image and popularity of P-AbNoynoy. In the end, people will remember the president for his performance and not his popularity. Popularity is a myth. Corporation or Oligarch media can make a person popular or infamous. The best example of this is Willie Revillame who really thought that he is popular and powerful. He did not realize that without the backing of the powerful ABiaS CBN, he’s nothing. Claudine Barreto thought that she’s the Philippines’ sought after Drama Queen. She jumped ship and moved to the rival GMA 7 only to realize that she’s nothing without ABiaS CBN’s Star Magic. She believed the lie of popularity that her network made her to believe. Her new weekly miniseries doesn’t even rate. It’s the same popularity that AbNoynoy’s think tank (People behind AbNoynoy’s presidency) wants P-AbNoynoy to believe. I hope that when reality sinks in, he’ll be able to pick up the pieces and just work hard in order to prove to the 40% of Pinoys who voted for him that he deserved to be in Malacañang.
The Political Guru Emile Jurado said that P-AbNoynoy shouldn’t have worn the Yellow Barong Tagalog. I haven’t watched the Inauguration yet so I can’t confirm if indeed P-AbNoynoy wore yellow. P-AbNoynoy should realize that he’s not anymore a Presidential Candidate. He’s already the president of the reds, whites, blues and yellows. We Pinoys are diverse and he should be able to unite us all. Unfortunately, like his mother, he only has hatred and vindictiveness in his heart. There will be no reconciliation in the next 6 years of the P-AbNoynoy’s administration.

So mga kabayan, as I’ve written in my previous postings. Brace yourself for more of P-AbNoynoy’s blunder and even more for his little sister Tetay’s antics. The Kamag Anak Inc, the Corrupt Hyatt 10, the party of the Balimbings LP, the Trapo Franklin Drilon, and many more will surely make our 6 years in P-AbNoynoy’s presidency exciting.
