Nang Dahil sa Tatoo

Arab News reported that an OFW was repatriated back in the Philippines because of his tattoo. An employee of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) called the attention of Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices (MUTAWA) when he saw the ‘Lady Hunter KSA’ tattoo engraved in the arm of a Filipino who was at that time paying the bill.

One good thing in the Kingdom of the Sand is that laws are laws. If you violate a law, you’ll have to pay for it. They wouldn’t hear any excuses. We are guests’ workers in this kingdom. The authorities here expect us to follow the laws. I don’t pity the ‘Kabayan’ who was deported. He knows the consequences of his actions but he chooses to ignore it.
