Philippine Elections goes Automated

Despite the apprehensions, criticism and intrigues, the 2010 Automated Presidential Election is in full swing. We’re moving away from the flawed manual to electronic counting. The new system promises accurate and fast counting of votes.


Previous Philippine elections have been marred by massive fraud mostly in favor of the incumbent. The automated elections will also erase all the claims by the losers that they were cheated. I think it will greatly help heal the credibility issue of COMELEC.

I know that Filipinos can’t help themselves to lay claim and sometimes their claims are unfounded but it was said that the 2010 Presidential Election is the largest (in terms of scope) automated elections in Asia. An estimated 50.8 million Filipinos will go to the polls on Monday. Even Japan they is not automated. India did a partial automation in their last election were the Congress Party won the majority.

We could not please everyone so even before the automated election started, several politicians called for a parallel manual counting. They have several issues but the recent one filed by former President Erap Estrada was junked by the Supreme Court. Oldies don’t usually like change but if we don’t start this automation now, then when? We should at least try it before we say our judgment. Irresponsible parties are peddling lies and painting dark scenarios just to justify another People Power. The bad thing with People Power is that, we could install a non democratically elected person to power.

We’re hearing reports that Poll servers were not well trained. They may have been trained but it takes a little computer knowledge to operate the machines. There were poll servers who wrongly inserted the flash cards. There were instances that machines wouldn’t work but actually they (poll servers) just failed to put on the plug. There were crazy instances that the poll servers were helpless on how to turn on the machines when in fact even a grade schooler could identify the minor problem. It also did not help that we have irresponsible media e.g. ABiaS CBN, The Philippine Daily Inquirer and sometimes, the Philippine Star. These Opposition mouthpieces cloak as journalist would make a mountain out of a mole hill.

Militants say that automation could pave way to e-Garci. Well, the Garci scandal was just blown out of proportion. There weren’t any evidence to convict Garci. If there weren’t any evidence then, all Teddy Casiño was saying is just an accusation or claim and would remain the same unless he can give evidence. Militants are already occupying the congress through the Party List System yet they haven’t done anything except to encash their CDF otherwise known as Pork Barrel.

To my kababayan, let’s pray that the automated election will prosper. Don’t forget to vote for G1BO. If you don’t want to vote for G1BO, vote any other candidate except for AbNoynoy Aquino.

AbNoynoy: Sure Winner or Sore Loser?

The Yellow Army, LP, and the AbNonoy Camp are peddling lies again. They’re saying that AbNoynoy is already a sure winner basing on the surveys with sample size of 2,000. As we all know, the survey firms SWS and False Asia comprises of AbNoynoy relatives. Aside from that, there are surveys that were commissioned by AbNoynoy’s camp, LP, Yellow Army and MERALCO. As for MERALCO, we all know that the then President Cory Aquino gave back MERALCO to the Lopezes without a ‘Singkong Duling’. That’s the reason why we could not blame the Lopezes if they’re for AbNoynoy. For them (Oligarchs) it means maintaining the status quo. Manolo Lopez’s memorandum to MERALCO employees recently circulated the internet urging employees to vote for AbNoynoy. That Memo is also applicable to ABiaS CBN as well. Don’t wonder if you watch biases in their reporting because they’re for AbNoynoy for the simple reason of ‘Utang na Loob’ or debt of gratitude.


As I was saying… AbNoynoy claims that he’s already a sure winner and the only way he can lose is if he’s cheated. If he lose the election, he’s calling for a redo on EDSA. Many critics are already alarmed by the irresponsible statement of AbNoynoy. Calling for another EDSA means that he’s willing to put the lives of the people at risk just so he could become a president. I think AbNoynoy’s statement means a lot of things to a lot of people. I don’t know if it’s the helpless AbNoynoy who really want an EDSA redo or his Yellow Army who couldn’t wait to get their butt to Malacañang. They’re the same people who toppled the democratically elected president (Erap Estrada) and they’re the same people behind the Oust PGMA Movement. They’ve succeeded with Erap and not with PGMA so from 2005, they’ve been really bitter. They want blood just for their personal ambition. Nakakatakot!

Another EDSA means that we haven’t learned our lessons from our history book. Kawawang sambayanang Filipino. Our economy will go down the drain and the 9 years of economic stability under PGMA will be for nothing.

Paranoid: Kris is truly AbNoynoy’s Sister

Tetay is paranoid and she wants to stab her brother’s detractors. That’s why the saying ‘It runs in the family’ is really true. May pinagmahanan naman si Tetay since she and AbNoynoy share the same genes. I’m specifically referring to her unexpected psychological disorder. Although she was smiling when she said that on national TV, meron tayong dapat ikabahala. Not all people can actually think of stabbing other people, right?

Before Tetay point fingers, she should first check her facts. The Yellow Army, people who were behind the Presidential Ambition of AbNoynoy and they’re also the same people who benefited from the doomed Cory Aquino Presidency. They’re the Oligarchs, the Kamag Anak Inc., the people behind oust PGMA (by any means but they weren’t successful) and the holier than thous… again, it’s the Yellow Army who initiated these all sorts of Black Propaganda. LPs campaign is solely on the premise of propagating lies against their rivals instead of talking about platforms of government. LP and the Yellow Armies do not want to engage in debate for fear that people will realize that AbNoynoy is an empty shell. Nada. No laws passed in his 9 years in Congress and 3 years in the Senate. He’s involved in BSA security agency scam at the age of 26 while his mother was still in office. His alleged psychological problems that he doesn’t want to dignify for fear the people will know that he indeed went through psychological counseling.

If ever, God forbid, that AbNoynoy wins in the election, he’ll have to face several critics and detractors. The criticism will be more than what he’s getting nowadays. Kris was saying that she’ll stab AbNoynoy’s detractors, ngayon pa lang affected na siya. How much more if her brother is already in the office? Baka she’ll hire people to knock down AbNoynoy’s critics and that’s not the way the world works. PGMA has gone through a lot more than Tetay’s abnormal of a brother. I never heard PGMA or her relatives na mananaksak sila ng kapwa. How pathetic!

That’s why Anabel Rama (Bisaya) was right when she said that Tetay’s a bully. Tetay thinks that she owns the showbizlandia. How much more if her abnormal of a brother will be in the office? Baka mas matindi pa, baka sobra pa! Tetay pala has the tendency na mamatay ng tao. God save her soul!

Why I’m for G1BO

Most of the paid PR writers poised as Opinion Writers have already indorsed their candidates. So nakiki uso lang ako so I’m also indorsing my own candidate! LOL.

I’m for Gilbert ‘G1BO’ Teodoro for the following reasons:

1. Positive campaigning. No Mudslinging unlike the AbNoynoy (LP) and Villar (NP).

2. He’s the only candidate who calls for reconciliation and unity.

3. He’s the only candidate who offers realistic and practical solutions to the current problems of our country.

4. He’s the only candidate who has a specific platform of government and specific regional plans.

5. He’s the only candidate who did not appeal to emotions just to gain vote.

I call on all Filipinos to wake up and vote for the most qualified presidential candidate, G1BO Teodoro!
